Is it time to go yet???

Ok- so Mere and G (Mere especially) have been bouncing off the walls with excitement since this trip was a twinkle in G's eye and the whole time I've just been quietly grinning about it all. Well, just to let you know, now I'm PUMPED. I don't know if it's cause I packed all my stuff last night, cause I only have about 6 hours of work left, cause it's 91 degrees and humid outside (110 is going to suck) or what but I can't wait to get going already. Ready... break.

Welcome to our Sub-Continental Blog ... a travel blog that goes deep. So you might be asking yourself the obvious question: Why? Basically, we just thought it would be a cool and fun way to:

• Allow our friends and family, many of whom know each other, to read about our adventures. Even if you don’t know the others (Mike, Meredith or Gautam), we like to think you might enjoy each of our different perspectives.
  
• Be part of the information REVOLUTION. Our stories, reviews, opinions and thoughts will live on — online — for many years to come. Hopefully someone somewhere sometime in this shrinking world of ours will find them useful as they head out on their own travels.
