The first night was the "engagement ceremony" ... while they were already engaged, they still did the traditional ceremony. It was combined with a cocktail night, not just an hour.

The 2nd day was when all the women got henna on their hands, and it was followed by dinner and dancing (and scotch) with traditional folk songs, in the evening.
